Pearl Cardigan

When I saw this pattern I absolutely loved it, but I knew I would be taking a huge risk with it falling at the 2nd widest part of my body.  I thought if it were just a little longer it would be perfect on me.  I knew that and yet I did not lengthen it. How I Did It Such an easy pattern and it takes me to make it hard and mess it up.  The first one I had to trash because the parts would not fit - yep it was that bad.  The second time I was successful. Fabric Brushed jersey animal print that I found in JoAnn's.  I absolutely love an animal print. Pattern Adjustments I can't find the pattern envelope, but based on my measurements I am sure I cut a 9 at the neck and graded out to a 10 from the bottom of the armhole to the waistline. Closet Core Mile End Sweatshirt and Plateau Joggers

I bought both patterns in March 2021 with the intention of making them right away and that didn't happen.  I was immediately drawn to the patterns because of the comfort factor.  Between the patterns and the fabric I was not disappointed. Mile End Sweatshirt and Plateau Joggers How I Did It I stabilized the shoulders with Sewkeyse Knit Stay Tape but just realized that I did not stabilize the neckline, but the neckline appears to be ok. Fabric I finally bought fabric October 2021 to make these pieces.  I purchased " See You at Six Scattered Scribbles French Terry " from Style Maker Fabrics.  The color is call "Cider" (reminds me of the color of a sweet potato).  This fabric feels so soft and good against my skin.
