Ladies Night Out 2017

What happens when you over commit yourself?  You lose a lot of sleep, you make an enormous amount of errors, you swear you will never over commit yourself again, and you get it done.  Learn from me - DON'T OVER COMMIT YOURSELF. So this is the other gift my niece gave to her guest at her ladies night out gathering. Both the toilet paper and footies were a big hit with her guests. Ladies Night Out 2017 Footies Toilet Paper Fun Posting How I Did It I used my  Silhouette  ,  Paropy Injet Light  paper, my printer, and  CorelDRAW  for this project.  I found the design in CorelDRAW.  I added the wording "Ladies Night Out 2017" to the stem and base of the wine glass.  I chose this design because I knew she would be serving drinks in her wine glasses. The design was all black (boring) so I added some color to brighten it up and make it pop.  Once I was satisfied with the design I brought it into the Silhouette software and printed it on the Paropy paper.  I

Toilet Paper Fun

My niece is hosting a ladies night out and wanted some inexpensive gifts to give away.  One gift that was suggested was to embroider on toilet paper.  I was tasked with coming up with something to put on toilet paper. Before I get into the details of how I did it let me share some hard learned lessons. Clean your bobbin area often - you would be surprised at how much paper dust gets in there.  How often?  My machine starte

I have a great great niece now and I am still trying to get used to that fact.  New babies in my family and friends family automatically gets you a custom baby blanket. In the past I would whip out my blanket within a month of the baby being born.  The time it is taking me to complete one is getting longer and longer.  I got so many sewing projects that I want to do that sometimes these get pushed to the back of the project list.  Now I will be happy if I can get one completed before the baby turns one year old! Completed Baby Quilt How I Did It I am proud to say all the fabric came from my quilting stash.  I used a pattern from the book  Sew Special Fat Quarter Gifts  and I believe the square size I used was 6.5 inches.  The embroidery designs are from  Bunnycup Embroidery .  I believe they are from 2 or 3 different sets that I have purchased. I really love the Bunnycup site because they have a lot of kid/baby designs and they put together the cutest sets to sell.  Their
