My Painted on Jeans
I don't know where my head was when I cut out these jeans 😂 because I made no adjustments before cutting them out in my good fabric. I cut this pattern out I believe sometime last year. My first inclination after trying them on was to put them in the give away pile, but I have learned to walk away for a day or so and things most times magically look different. Cashmerette Ames Jeans How I Did It I call these my painted on jeans because that is what they look like to me in the hip/thigh area. They feel absolutely comfortable, but I am not comfortable with the "painted on" look. I forgot stretch fabric clings to your curves. Actually I had an opportunity to add 1/2" by cutting the side seam allowance in half. Earlier I tried the pants and thought I was happy with the fit. Before I serged the side seam I told myself to try them on one more time, however, I didn't listen to my wiser self 😂. I was sick when I had used my good fabric without any adjustments and
